Foreman provides integration with TFTP using the Smart Proxy. Technically this is implemented using the tftp module. Unlike DHCP and DNS, this doesn't have multiple providers. It only manages a directory in a configurable location. It is then expected that a TFTP server somehow serves that.

On a related note, the httpboot uses this same directory.

The support is documented in the integrating provisioning infrastructure services. Upstream (3.16) and downstream (6.17).

Open questions:

• Do we support managing a TFTP server like we do today?
