    Option to prune packages from Satellite repository using Pulp prune feature

2.  What is the nature and description of the request?
 
    In certain scenarios, where normal filtering is not possible, it would be good to have pulp prune available on the Satellite. This could be useful for creating pruned repositories for exports.
 
3.  Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

    The customer needs to export large custom repositories where normal filtering methods are not that effective. The requirement here is to remove older versions of packages which were synced to the repositories previously and only retain recent packages.
