Problem Statement
Customer with auth source + user group + ldap (issues with usergroup sync feature enabled, and the user is logging)
Basically, when login in with the account, and assuming that the usergroup sync feature is enable, Satellite is not able to track that the user is member of a group, and no role will be assigned. However, once the cronjob updates or we press the Refresh button on User Group page, we can see that the information gets updated properly.
The worst about this scenario is, assuming the customer logoff, and log back, Satellite will try to match once again the group, will not find it, and will wipe out any relationship created by the User Group, and the cycle will be endless ... after some time, the cronjob will run once again, and the customer will get back the perms, or whenever clicking on the refresh button, the role will be back.
