      Satellite provides a container image that you can use to run a Model Context Protocol (MPC) server locally. The MCP server for Satellite is designed for advanced reporting and data analysis that leverages AI capabilities. You can use it to generate dynamic and comprehensive reports from your Satellite inventory.

      Goal:

      Create a stand-alone MCP server that users can configure with their Satellite credentials in order to interact with a Satellite's inventory as read-only and generate reports.

      Acceptance Criteria:

      • Container image containing MCP server available to run locally on a RHEL server
      • Container image can be configured with user credentials
      • MCP server is capable of generating reports from Satellite inventory
