      Description:

I've observed an inconsistent and unexpected behavior specifically related to the "Config Management" parent menu item in the left-hand navigation menu.

      Current Behavior:

      • Expand the "Reports" parent menu item and ensure one of its child items (e.g., "Report Templates") is selected and highlighted.
      • Click on the "Config Management" parent menu item (which is a sibling to "Reports").
      • Observe: The "Reports" menu unexpectedly collapses when "Config Management" is clicked.

In contrast, when interacting with other sibling parent menu items:

      • With the "Reports" menu expanded and a child item highlighted (as in step 1).
      • Click on any other sibling parent menu item (e.g., "Satellite Tasks", "Hosts", etc., excluding "Config Management").
      • Observe: The "Reports" menu remains expanded; it does not collapse.

      Expected Behavior:

The collapse/expand behavior of all sibling parent menu items should be consistent. Given that clicking other sibling menus (like "Satellite Tasks") does not cause the "Reports" menu to collapse, clicking "Config Management" should also not cause the "Reports" menu to collapse. The "Reports" menu should remain expanded in this scenario, consistent with the behavior when other sibling menus are clicked.

      Impact:

This specific inconsistency with "Config Management" leads to user confusion and breaks the predictable navigation pattern within the application. Users are left uncertain about when the "Reports" menu will collapse, degrading the overall user experience and suggesting a bug in the UI/UX implementation related to this particular menu item's interaction with the "Reports" menu
