On past days, AT&T Mexico is working to bring their latest Red Hat Satellite deployment into production. As a CSO requirement, they request configuration to retrieve logs when performing the following actions through the Satellite web UI:

• Log out (source IP address not displayed)
• Register and delete users (source IP address not displayed)
• Change password (user and action not displayed)
• Add permissions/roles/profiles (user and action not displayed)
• Delete permissions/roles/profiles (user and action not displayed)

The customer generated a ticket where the support team explained that this is not possible simply because Satellite is not designed to generate this type of log. They recommend requesting this functionality be included in future releases through the RFE process, keeping in mind that this may or may not happen depending on the number of customers requesting it.

The client understands this situation and now requests an official letterhead document explaining that it's not part of the product, only to share it with the CSO and explain that it's not a misconfiguration, but rather that it's not part of the product.
