Description of problem:
The HW properties card for a host shows some CPU\RAM\DISK details for a host, and the information about RAM, is expected to show the current assigned RAM for the system. But instead it prints the value of maximum_capacity which deviates from the expected value.
How reproducible:
Easily
Is this issue a regression from an earlier version:
NA
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install a Satellite 6.16
2. Create a RHEL 8 or 9 system and create some rhsm custom facts for dmi.memory.maximum_capacity ( say 6 GB ) and memory.memtotal ( say 20218472 )
3. Register the system with the satellite
4. Check the host details, specifically the Hardware Properties tab, for the value of RAM.
Actual behavior:
It is showing the value of 6 GB instead of 19 GB\20 GB.
Expected behavior:
It should show the value that is actually assigned to the system
Business Impact / Additional info:
It's fixed via https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/37866 and https://github.com/Katello/katello/pull/11164 in katello 4.15 ( i.e. most probably Satellite 6.17 or later ). I request a backport of the fix to Satellite 6.16.z i.e. katello 4.14 if I am not wrong.
