Description of problem:

The capability of managing Satellite with Ansible has been indicated and even advertised for several versions of Red Hat Satellite Server and Ansible, but the ability to actually patch, update, or upgrade Satellite and its Capsules is not present in either of those collections.

The redhat.satellite_operations collection as well as the upstream foreman-operations-collection modules, and despite the descriptions stating "Ansible assets for managing Satellite operations such as install, upgrade or maintenance tasks."  There is nothing in either of them relating to patching, updating, or upgrading Satellite and its Capsules. 

Additionally, the documentation for how to use the Ansible collections for Satellite and Capsule Server maintenance is missing a great deal of information regarding upgrade, update, patching, and any other forms of maintenance tasks.

How reproducible:

Functionality and the documentation of how to leverage the functionality does not exist.

Is this issue a regression from an earlier version:

No.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Functionality not present or working in the existing tools (The supported redhat.satellite_operations Ansible collection, or the upstream foreman-operations-collection Ansible collection.)

Actual behavior:
This functionality and the documentation of how to leverage the functionality does not exist.

Expected behavior:
The ability to patch, update, or upgrade Satellite and its Capsules through the automation tool such as Ansible (specifically Ansible Automation Platform) needs to be available.

Business Impact / Additional info:

My customer, as well as many others, are looking for a procedure to reliably automate the maintenance of their Satellite infrastructure using Ansible Automation Platform, just like they do with their server patching process. The capability to manage Satellite with Ansible has been advertised since Satellite 6.8 ( Blog post ).
