Tasks management in Red Hat Satellite

2. What is the nature and description of the request?

Due to the number of hosts, tasks like "Bulk generate applicability" are taking  resources from most important and immediate tasks, even simpler but more urgent considering the application management.

3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

It is not possible to efficiently manage the Satellite depending on the time of the day, or when "Bulk generate applicability" tasks are racing with more ordinary tasks manually started during the Satellite managment.

4. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)

By setting a nice level for tasks considered less important in the moment.

5. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?

No.

6. Does the customer have any specific timeline dependencies and which release would they like to target (i.e. RHEL8, RHEL9)?

No.
