Description of problem:

Provided that number of all registered or filtered hosts exceeds the number of the maximum hosts displayed in the hosts list and all hosts are selected,  unchecking just one tick unselect all hosts which are beyond the display limit, and the number of all selected hosts equals to the display limit minus one.

Easily reproducible provided that number of all registered or filtered hosts exceeds the number of the maximum hosts displayed in the hosts list.

Is this issue a regression from an earlier version: No

Steps to Reproduce:

In 'Satellite WebUI -> Hosts -> All Hosts' page, select all hosts with the first tick in the table header and confirm selecting also those hosts which are beyond the display limit. Notice that the number of all hosts selected equals to all.

Now unselect just one host you would intentionally like to exclude from the selection list. Now notice the number of the selected hosts of all. By unchecking just one tick you also unselected all hosts which are beyond the display limit, and the number of all selected hosts equals to the display limit minus one.

Business Impact / Additional info: 

In some situations, the remediation is to extend the display limit to the maximum of 50 hosts. But if even the query search filter would produce the list longer than 50 hosts and excluding just one host is a must, this would cause a big problem of how to process hundreds hosts just because of one host you must not touch.
