Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 6.11 and above
Description of problem:
The doc steps for network sync points `Sync Now` button which does not exist causing confusion
How reproducible: always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.14/html-single/installing_satellite_server_in_a_disconnected_network_environment/index#configuring-server-to-synchronize-content-over-a-network_satellite
2. Look for steps 13 and 14 of the procedure
3.
Actual results:
13. In the Satellite web UI, navigate to Content > Products.
14. Click Sync Now to synchronize the repositories.
Expected results:
I am not doc specialist but some thing along
12. If you need to enable repositories go to the Red Hat repositories and enable accordingly.
13. In the Satellite web UI, navigate to Content > Products.
14. Select the Product and Repository
15. If its Red Hat repository you should be able to see the Upstream URL pointing to your upstream satellite.
16. Click Select Action -> Sync Now to synchronize the repositories.
Additional info:
Basically the Sync Now action is only available on the repository details. There is a Sync Selected on Products. But the docs do not highlight the fact that the user has to manually enable and sync like a regular repository. So we have users looking for products to be already there when they setup the network sync configuration.
