      1. Proposed title of this feature request

[RFE] Incremental exports should allow arbitrary dates

      3. What is the nature and description of the request?

The customer would like to be able to create incremental exports with an arbitrary date (rather than a version number) using the "--since" option.

      4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Personal preference. The customer was able to do this in Satellite 6.9, and they enjoyed that experience.

      5. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)

Add a "--since" option to the hammer command to allow (at least) incremental content exports of both the Library and of content views

      6. For each functional requirement listed, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.

      • sync an older repository
      • republish a content view containing that repository
      • export the library, and also the content view
      • check the package versions to verify that none of them are older than the "since" date

      7. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?

      no

      8. Does the customer have any specific timeline dependencies and which release would they like to target (i.e. RHEL8, RHEL9)?

      no

      9. Is the sales team involved in this request and do they have any additional input?

      no

      10. List any affected packages or components.

      pulp

      11. Would the customer be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented?

      .
