The workaround today is to configure a smart router, which can then point to Business Central Monitoring as a controller. While workable, this is still not ideal an enforces the use of a smart router where it may be otherwise neither desired or required.

For Business Central Monitoring to monitor process and task information, it needs to be configured as a controller and receive server registrations. While control and management of a KIE server can be disabled, configured a controller still creates an outside dependency, preventing immutable KIE servers from independent function.
