Manila, oepnstack file system as a service project support exporting shares in a number of files systems via an network to a nova instance.

In today's topology either the guest need direct access to the storage backend that provides the share or a proxy vm must be used to export cinder volumes as a network file system.

for protocols like cephfs re-exporting is not possible and operators are forced to expose the backing ceph cluster to the teants.

This epic tracks addressing that by providing a way to use virtio-fs to host mount the share and attach it to the instance when using the libvirt driver.

      This epic is repalces https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1887471
