We allow DSPO users to submit DSPA and specify a minio image if they would like object storage. However, this is for testing/experimentation, and we do not support this.

One major reason why is Red Hat does not have its own offering of an official Minio image, as it can be considered competing product. Before we consider whether buildling Minio is even a viable option, we should first confirm the following with the storage team:

1. Can RHODs use Minio?
2. If so, can we build Minio in CPAAS?
3. Does the storageteam have an alternative suggestion to Minio, that is equally as light weight, and offers similar "plug-n-play" style deployment, scoped to ocp projects for each deployment?
