Story
- Admin installs and configures the ServiceNow plugin, adding it to user/group or entity pages.
- Admin configures the plugin with a SNOW URL and authentication settings (SSO or user authentication).
- Developer adds annotations in the catalog-info to view requests for specific users, groups, or entities.
- User views ServiceNow tickets from the entity or user pages, with filtering options (state and priority), and navigates directly to the ticket page in ServiceNow.
Background
Currently, users can create ServiceNow requests via software templates or the Orchestrator, but they cannot view the requests they created within RHDH or Backstage. They must navigate to the ServiceNow portal to access these requests. This feature will streamline the process and provide a more seamless user experience.
