    • RHDHPLAN-187Localization support for RHDH

      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

The RHDH UI requires Japanese localization to meet the needs of customers and facilitate deals. This feature will enable the platform to cater to additional users and markets by translating all user-facing texts and UI components into Japanese, thus improving accessibility and user experience.

There's some initial code from the feature requestor based on our framework here.

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

      • Provide full Japanese language support across the RHDH portal and core plugins.
      • Expand on the early translations we have from last release and work with the translation team so we can be confident the language is well covered.
      • Unlock business opportunities in Japanese-speaking regions by meeting mandatory language requirements.

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      1. Translate all user-facing texts, UI components, and messages into Japanese.
      2. Ensure that the Japanese language option is available and selectable within the language settings.
      3. Ensure the user interface displays correctly and consistently in Japanese without layout issues.

      Out of Scope (Optional)

      1. Localization of third-party plugins not included in the core RHDH portal and Core plugins.
      2. Support for additional unspecified languages.

      Customer Considerations (Optional)

when designing and delivering the Feature. Initial completion during
      Refinement status.

      Documentation Considerations

Provide information that needs to be considered and planned so that
documentation will meet customer needs. If the feature extends existing
functionality, provide a link to its current documentation.
