Upgrading with Leapp in LiveMode the auto-unlock of encrypted devices does not work properly as the /etc/crypttab configuration file is not present inside the squashfs so the booting fails. Note sure in what all cases this happens, but considering using LVM, where only /home is encrypted (rootfs is not) leads to such issue.
AC. copy /etc/crypttab to the target userspace container so it's part of the created squashfs
