[RFE] Allow live addition of qcow2 overlay with 'data-file' for disks

      Goal

      CNV wants to be able to install a qcow2 overlay and keep the data in the original raw image via the 'data-file' feature for a running VM in order to allow incremental backups.

      Libvirt needs to explore how to achieve this.

      Acceptance criteria

      • run a VM with raw storage
      • instruct libvirt to add qcow2 overlay using 'data-file' to keep the data in the raw image
      • run incremental backups on the above setup
