Release Note Not Required
-
This feature is covered as part of the general cluster system roles feature update release note that is part of https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-30111
-
None
Goal
By default, the ha_cluster system role doesn't install agents for cloud environments. Users can install such agents using a role variable and list additional packages to be installed, or by a standalone task in a playbook. However, users need to know the exact name of the packages. On top of that, the packages are named differently in RHEL 8 and RHEL 9. The goal is to make it easier to install cloud agents.
Acceptance Criteria
There is a boolean variable which installs cloud agents if set to true.
