After provisioning a cloud openshift environment for Decision Management, use decision central to follow the following labs:

    Description

Navigating around Decision Central is slow (if it even returns a response) and the state doesn't always refresh.
During our different enablement sessions the openshift installed Decision Central state is unstable in most of the client machines:
You are trying to work through some project and assets creation steps and Decision Central just stop showing expected behavior: It will suddently show an empty screen after clicking a "new asset button", will not load the list of packages for creating a new asset, or will not load the editor view of an asset to be modified.
Then you have to "refresh" the whole browser and start the steps again. This happens continuously through the execution of different steps of our labs and users get disapointed about the behavior, also causing an awful first impresion of the product.
Here some comments from GPTE management around it:

The upgrade from BRMS 5 -> 6 happened exactly 5 years ago. The business central web app from BRMS 5.3 was really limited in functionality but at least it was responsive. We actually ran our Business Logic Development courses in OpenShift 2 up until 5 years ago. With BPMS 6 and the introduction of Uberfire, business central responsiveness became so poor that we decided to no longer run our BPM courses remotely in OpenShift. We reverted to a local VM due to unusable BC in a remote environment. Many jiras and bugzillas later it seems that this Decision Central 7 is even worse. At least in BC v6 we didn't have state refresh problems.

For us, the impact is we cannot provide the student a reliable Decision Manager lab environment on OpenShift. This is really a poor position to be in, as all of our other MW training is now focused on OpenShift. The alternative is to have students download a VM and do the labs locally, which many are not able or willing to do.
