I tried to mirror 'redis-enterprise-operator-cert' certified operator with maxVersion & minVersion as same version*(7.4.6-6.1)* for two different channels, but higher version present in channel was mirrored too.
~~~
./oc-mirror list operators --catalog=<registry-url:8443>/redhat/certified-operator-index:v4.16 --package=redis-enterprise-operator-cert --channel=7.4.6
VERSIONS
7.4.6-6.4
7.4.6-6.1
./oc-mirror list operators --catalog=<registry-url:8443>/redhat/certified-operator-index:v4.16 --package=redis-enterprise-operator-cert --channel=productio
VERSIONS
7.22.0-15.0
7.4.6-6.1
~~~
Need more details on why 'maxVersion' is discouraged in OLM v1 and what we recommend to customer in such cases.
