EgressIP on secondary network for Vsphere

      Customer has cluster installed on vsphere where EgressIP is not working on secondary subnet.
      According to RH document EgressIP is supported on bare metal cluster, "OpenShift Container Platform is installed on a bare metal cluster. This feature is disabled within cloud or hypervisor environments."

      Customer wants to know why is the function disabled on vsphere but not bare metal ? could you please provide technical reason for this ? could this be easily enabled ?
