1. Proposed title of this feature request
To support IPv6 in OpenShift 4.x on OpenStack
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
Telco providers are already deploying their applications on top of IPv6. We are seeing higher demand from Telco providers on using IPv6 with their CNFs.
This RFE is a request for allowing customers to add support for IPv6 to their existing clusters.
Currently we only support IPv6 dual-stack in bare metal:
We already have some epics that may be related to the IPv6 implementation:
https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OSASINFRA-1938
https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OSASINFRA-1707
At the moment we had such request from Vodafone. Who already started deployment of OCP on top of BM for this use-case. However they also use Kuryr SDN.
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
To unblock all Telco customers which CNFs requires IPv6.
4. List any affected packages or components.
