Objective:  Investigate effort needed to single source the following downstream guide: Configuring_your_red_hat_build_of_quarkus_applications_by_using_a_yaml_file

      Resources:

      Key Points:

      • Stakeholder Discussion: Review requirements with SME/stakeholders involved in previous Lift and Shift effots
      • Timeline: Assess possibility of delivering upstream for upstream 3.27 branch cutoff on August 13th.
      • Technical Considerations: Discuss and evaluate the need for conditionalization and other adjustments.

      Tasks:

      1. Review the current downstream guide for dependencies.
      2. Assess the need for conditionalization.
      3. Migrate the guide to the upstream repository.
      4. Test the migrated guide for functionality.
      5. Make adjustments based on feedback.
      6. Communicate completion and document changes.

      Dependencies:

      • Stakeholder, SME, and QE feedback and confirmation
      • Technical assessment for upstream compatibility

      Risks:

      • Unknowns due to IBM move and DITA migration considerations
