Section: - Describing Methods for Managing Ingress Traffic
Language: en-US (English)
Workaround:
Description: The "Note" box says:
An ingress is a Kubernetes resource that provides some of the same features as
routes (which are an OpenShift resource), but also includes specific features, such
as path-based routing, TLS re-encryption, or support of wildcard domains. For
more information about the differences between a route and an ingress, consult the
Kubernetes Ingress vs OpenShift Route link listed in the references section.
So this says a Ingress resource supports TLS re-encryption, wildcard domains, etc. But in fact Routes support that.
