      Workaround: May sure to cd back to the user's home directory.

      Alternately, a coursebook note stating the description below would be helpful. That information was taken from the Valgrind web help.

      Description: If a student is in one of a number of non-writable or pseudo file system directories before running Valgrind, the tool may complete but will display no results.

      Valgrind requires running from a temporary directory which is writable and supports FIFOs. An alternate temporary directory can be specified using "--with-tmpdir=" cor by setting environment variable TMPDIR before running Valgrind.
