mpathconf --enable --with_multipathd y --with_chkconfig y

according to man page --with_chkconfig does not appear to be an option, and the command fails anyway
--with_multipathd does not appear to cause an error but is probably redirected to systemctl anyway. Is there any benefit in including this extra option in the example? What additional value does it provide to the student?
