Workaround: Use the proposal from the Windows Integration Guide:
"Each system must have its own unique primary DNS domain configured; for example, ad.example.com for AD and idm.example.com for IdM."
Description: In pave 204 there is a warning about the IdM domain is a parent domain of the AD domain.
It reads:
IdM does not work correctly when the IdM domain is a parent domain of the
Active Directory domain, for example: example.net or identity.example.net
for IdM and ad.example.net or ad.identity.example.net for
Active Directory.
It's not clear at all.
What is the IdM domain and which is the AD domain?
If it's identidy.example.net and ad.example.net how do we say that the IdM domain is the parent domain of the ad?
I believe the meaning is:
idm.example.net & ad.idm.example.net
example.net & ad.example.net
