      Workaround:

Description: On p.119 & 120 of the SG, there is coverage of NS type DNS resource records. The example on p.120 of the SG has classroom.example.com returned as the NS of record for example.com. For this to work, the owner of example.com must create a glue record at their registrar. Without a glue record in place, we could not get an answer to the query we display in the SG on p.120.

In my time supporting clients in a managed hosting environment, I saw lots of confusion and misunderstanding around glue records. I had many clients ask me to create a glue record for their domain, which I couldn't do without access to their account at their registrar. It would be nice if glue records were mentioned, especially given that the examples we show don't work without glue records.

I believe showing a dialog similar to the dialog on this page would be sufficient: https://wiki.gandi.net/en/glossary/glue-record
