Workaround: Instructors can point out that 'halt', 'shutdown', and 'reboot' are all valid and in practice most administrators don't directly specify them through systemctl.
Description: In ch13s01, "The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Boot Process", the subheading "Boot, reboot, and shut down" implies that 'systemctl reboot' is the preferred way to reboot a system and that 'reboot' is only available as a compatibility mode. I disagree with this positioning; we're still considering 'reboot' the correct command for this purpose in activities and labs. It may even be that POSIX or other Linux standards specify the existence of reboot(8) since not all systems are required to use systemd as PID1.
We should consider carefully adjusting the positioning of this discussion on the next significant course update.
