Description: I believe that if there is an ansible.cfg file in the Git repository of a project that contains a playbook, that ansible.cfg file will be used by Tower to override the configuration it has built in.  In some circumstances this might cause odd side-effects if you're not expecting it.

(for example, try setting the inventory location or paths to things in the environment)

I don't think this is an active issue in the course, but it's something we should mention and might impact how we suggest students structure repositories at some point.
