Some of the instructions in this lab weren't clear to me until I looked at the solutions.

I think we should change, "Log in as student and begin in the home directory," to "Log in as student and begin in student's home directory." The existing instruction leads me to believe that I should start at /home. Similarly, I think the first sentence in step 1 should be changed from, "Redirect a long listing of all home directory files, including hidden..." to "Redirect a long listing of all directories and files in student's home directory, including hidden ones..."

In step 3, I'm not sure why the solutions show using character-based visual mode (v) instead of line-based visual mode (V). Step 3 is much easier to complete using line-based visual mode.

Step 7 indicates to remove the time/year column, but I only see hours and mintues, not years.
