      Workaround:

Description: Two exercises in Chapter 7, "Background and Foreground Processes" and "Killing Processes" use a command-line based subshell in order to demonstrate job control. This has two issues; first, it's conceptually hard for students to see that subshell is effectively a job. Second, it's prone to typos for students that retype things every time.

I suggest at next revision we look at back-porting the RH066x version of these labs to RH124/RH199/RH299. They bundle the subshell up as an actual shell script which clarifies the commands and the output. That version also shows the output that happens more clearly in the screen tags. The main change to port back in will be to remove the Amazon EC2 specific references, do a 1,$s/ec2-user/&stu;/g and a 1,$/ip-192-0-2-1/&srv;/g to convert account and machine names back.
