    • Checked and confirmed the statement from Jan. Adding screenshots from RHEL 8 and RHEL 9.

Not related to any Guided Exercise or Lab. Just a demonstration from the instructor on Chapter 13 Manage Networking.

      Workaround:

Description: There is a problem in RH199 chapter 13 - Configure Hostnames and name Resolution.

The problem is, that I want to show students, that NetworkManager configuration changes /etc/resolv.conf. But NetworkManager does not change the /etc/resolv.conf file.
It does NOT contain even the comment that it is generated by NM. The file is static.
There is no configuration option dns=none in NM configs. The file is not symlink.
Still the NM will not change the file.
It looks like the files is "hardcoded" somehow and I can't figure how.

Can you please help me with that?
In RH199 on RHEL 8 it was working correctly.
