Issue description

The requester identified that the issue is caused by unclear or modified documentation during the instructor system setup for the onsite DIY lab environment.

During installation, the option “f0 – Fresh instructor (Use e to append course)” installs only the foundation without course material, while “f0 – Fresh instructor (LB-0000-RHEL10.0)” installs the course content. This behavior is not clearly explained in the documentation, leading to confusion and missing course content.

Additionally, the requester reported:

• Workstation VM is unable to communicate with the external network, causing some labs to fail.

• Some lab names do not match the course content.

• Confirmation is required whether RH104 course content is included in the USB image.

Requester is currently testing the environment and seeking confirmation and guidance.

Steps to reproduce:

• Boot the system using the rhci-foundation CD or constructed USB device.

• Select f0 – Fresh instructor (Use e to append course) during installation.

• Complete deployment of foundation and workstation systems.

• Observe that course content is not installed.

• Attempt to run lab commands — labs fail or are unavailable.

Expected result: 

• Documentation should clearly indicate the correct installation option.

• Course content should be properly installed using documented steps.

• Workstation VM should communicate with the external network.

• Lab names should match course content.
