Issue description

When participants executed the lab start software-repo command. It was executed successfully. Upon checking, the command should failed because it was not able to install the httpd package and start the service for 4 participants out of 10. It worked for me on testing on my machine. When I tried to install httpd on the workstation manually, it failed to connect with content/classroom.example.com after the lab start command. We need to fix these lab start and finish commands as they are not failing when something doesn't work. Tried rebooting workstation and servera but no help. 

Steps to reproduce:

Can try to do the lab start. But it works for some participants and doesn't work for others. 

Workaround:

Had to rebuilt lab environment.
