      Description:  ch02s05 -> Block Storage Scenarios

      RAID is a common tech. on hardware based storage solutions, but it makes no sense in ODF (Ceph)

      My comment on the RAID ref:
      That's common, using some technologies, but it makes absolutely NO sense to provision multiple RBD devices and put them in a RAID configuration on the client side.

      If a client require a different resiliancy level than what's configured on the particular SC backed ceph pool, then we create a new SC that makes use of an appropiately configured ceph pool. (Requires SE for external mode)
