      Issue description

      The umask command is used in step 5.2 and 5.6 as a way to set permissions.  One should not keep changing the umask value to get the desired permissions.  Have students use chmod  to get desired permissions and then put the umask in a separate part of the exercise and also have them put it in the .bashrc.  This is how the RHEL9 Lab worked.
