Issue description: The Git server stopped working several times during the course.
Steps to reproduce: This happened unexpectedly; I have no idea why.
Workaround: The Git server will only work again once all machines are shut down and restarted.
Expected result: I didn't have problems with the Git server in the preview release of the course (pre 4.18).
