Section Title: | builds for openshift: introducing shipwright |
Issue description
- shp tab completion not setup for the student in the workstation
- shp version shows 0.13.0 but documentation link provided implies 1.14
- oc api-resources and oc api-versions does not find any shipwright apis so the 'examples' provided will not build if the student does feel inclined to try it out (why even install shp if you don't want them to look/play with it?)
- only cloud-native buildpacks are shown as tech preview
- shipwright should according to the doc be installed by an operator but that has not been done and the operator is not available in operator hub for classroom anyway. makes no sense to me to install an old version of shp but not install the related operator that would make it usable
- student guide states that you can trigger it from the web console but there is no option to do that in our classroom environment, presumably due to the lack of operator not being installed
I am presuming that this section is just a very basic intro to shipwright and it was never designed to be usable in the classroom. This should be made clear to the student in the guide right up front so they don't get the idea that we don't know what is required for it to be available - just an installation of shp without the other stuff might give that impression to a student
The way the student guide reads is that it implies that shipwright is the new shiny way of doing builds and you should be using it - but then it says that the course is only going to using a BC. For full transparency a description of the state of shipwright and it's usage in OCP should be added with a reference as to why it is not being taught in the current version of the class
