Issue description RH134 Chapter 10.1 claims "After creating the partition, run the udevadm settle command for the system to detect the new partition and to create the associated device file in the /dev/directory." The command does not do either of those two things. Both of them will happen without ever running udevadm settle. All it does is to lock up the command prompt to make sure you do not run another command until the file to represent that partition is in the /dev/ directory, which will typically have already happened while you are still using parted. (I think the utility for the command is in scripts and not in the command line.) Now I expect that this was included as a "error on the side of caution" but I don't think we should be including incorrect explanations. In the guided exercise it also claims 10.2.2.6 "Register the new partitions with the kernel." It does not do that. Also in 10.4.2.3.
