Workaround:
Description: Ch10s02: Usage of double asterisk "**" looks more accurate for the specifications provided.
Git must be configured to not track or commit files with the .log file extension, files within the project's .ssh/ directory, and files within the project's collections/ directory. Solution: Step 2.1 Create the /home/student/review-cr1/project/.gitignore file with the following contents: .log .ssh/ collections/ I think based on the wording of the specification --> files within the project's .ssh/ directory, and files within the project's collections/ directory, the more accurate solution will be *.log .ssh/* collections/** From man gitignore A trailing "/*" matches everything inside. For example, "abc/*" matches all files inside directory "abc", relative to the location of the .gitignore file, with infinite depth.
