Issue description

When instructor executing the lab commands , the lab commands failed and saying could not find modules for course gl006 

Steps to reproduce:

use any of lab command, this issue happens frequently  

Workaround:

export PIP_DEFAULT_TIMEOUT=100

then restart the dynolabs-updates.sh manually

Expected result:

Every time we are using the lab commands, and once the lab stable, the lab commands will start the lab normally/
