I just noticed that when you clone a VM, the hostname doesn't change in the cloned VM. For example, in step 4.1 on ch9s04 we must configure a readiness probe for the web1 VM (a clone of the golden-web), but if you check the YAML manifest you'll notice the hostname is not web1, but golden-web. But in the instructions we show that the hostname is web1

I don't think we should fix it, but only mention to students that since it's a clone, all parameters from the original VM are kept except the ones that are set in in the form when cloning the VM: the name (not the hostname) and the namespace.
