" I am having a hard time with the instructional format.... I would definitely prefer a more task-oriented, linear style. If each step was outlined with a clear action up front, and key elements like buttons/fields/menu items in bold – we're already doing this to a degree, and it’s super helpful.
I've noticed that when monospace is mixed into the sentence with bold text, it tends to fade into the background, my eyes don't naturally gravitate to those elements like with bold text. Having the crucial stuff jump out in only bold – it’ll capture the attention exactly where we need it. If we lay out our steps sequentially, it’s a breeze to follow along.
I understand this is personal preference but I am finding the format difficult to follow."
