Issue description

Steps to reproduce:

after manually creating the operations > inventory file , as instructed in step 2.2 

synced the local repo with gitlab (step 3.5 ) 

Then when viewing the inventory - step 4.4 , noticed that multiple hostnames are merged together. 

This will eventually lead to grading failure like this : 

Workaround:

attempted to redo the lab by executing lab finish script and then lab start script. Had the same outcome.
