Issue description

All guided exercises create a custom ingress gateway and a virtual service that is bound to it.

However, when you access the apps you are connecting via the default ingress gateway created by Istio instead. Either remove the need to create the gateway or make sure you use the correct URL from the gateway.

Steps to reproduce:

Check the URL generated by the scripts or commands to capture the ingress gateway. It always points to the same default ingress gateway created by Istio, not the one you created.
