NTO uses Fast Datapath version of TuneD for RHEL 8.x. The reasoning for this is mostly outlined in PSAP-512. As we slowly move towards RHEL 9.x content in OCP, we also need NTO to consume RHEL 9.x FDP package.

      Why is this important:

      • Regular TuneD in RHEL 8.x/9.x ships only a limited set of TuneD profiles/packages.
      • We need a faster go-to-market in terms of new functionality and fixes in TuneD than what regular RHEL 8/9 processes offer.
