• Build a Continuous Performance Testing architecture for our RHOAI tests

Why is this important?

• CPT is becoming a key priority of the Perf&Scale department, to ensure that product performance do not degrade over the time
• in 2023, PSAP worked on building and automating RHOAI performance and scale tests, but some pieces are missing, in the environment that surrounds the tests.

• the CPT architecture will bring:
  • automated performance regression analyses, with a pass/fail flag for QE
  • long term storage of test artifacts (S3)
  • long term storage of key performance metrics (OpenSearch)
  • common dashboard visualization of the CPT test results (CPT Dashboard)
  • custom dashboard visualization of the CPT metrics (Grafana)
